The movie was filmed on location at historic Independence Square in Independence, Missouri, which actually looks like this all year round
Narrative
Alana Higman, a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan, and her family are competing to win the team’s Fan of the Year contest, in a process judged by Director of Fan Engagement Derrick.. Enjoy happily ever after – after this year’s lineup of holiday-themed romantic movies to watch from the comfort of your own home.. The locations that served as the Higman family store and Norma and Nick’s BBQ restaurant are family-owned stores in real life as well.
No, nada, boring, stupid
The square also has Christmas lights like the one in the movie.. sorry, but where the hell was Christmas??? I think this movie was terrible!!
Hallmark hyped it up so we could all watch it – what a huge mistake!
I know a lot of people are going to roll their eyes at this review, but hey, that’s my opinion. I thought the actors did a good job with what they had to work with, but what really threw me was very early on when the leads were sitting around the fire and at one point they stood up and suddenly held hands… No, that doesn’t happen like that, there was very little build up to get the hand hold at that moment.
The CGI or whatever it’s called was so obviously fake
The fact that the lead actress would put so much faith in a hat was nothing short of absurd, she was willing to dump her potential life partner for a hat – really? As another reviewer said, it was really crap and super stupid work! I gave him a 6 for the acting, some parts were okay, especially with the grandfather, I really found him likable.
